Shadow Puppetz is made up of two parts: Our crew members and our collaborators.

Crew members are the heart of Shadow Puppetz, acting as cultural experts and deeply shaping our work and vision. They train, dance, and collaborate regularly, taking on essential responsibilities such as running our Sunday Funkday sessions, teaching workshops and intensives, and organizing community events like Out of the Shadows. Crew members contribute both financially and through in-kind professional services such as event planning, graphic design, marketing, visual media, DJing, MCing, and much more.

Collaborators support us in specific projects or areas throughout the year. While they do not take on the full responsibilities of crew members, they believe in our mission and offer valuable skills that help us grow. Collaborators typically volunteer or provide in-kind professional services, working alongside and reporting to crew members who lead their respective areas.
