Shadow Puppetz is made up of two parts: Our crew members and our collaborators.

Crew members are the heart of Shadow Puppetz, acting as cultural experts and deeply shaping our work and vision. They train, dance, and collaborate together regularly, taking on essential responsibilities such as running our weekly sessions, teaching our workshops and intensives, and organizing events like Out of the Shadows. Some crew members take on specific roles, leading areas such as creative direction, strategy and operations, and digital media and artist relations.

Collaborators support us in specific projects or areas throughout the year. While they do not take on the full responsibilities of crew members, they believe in what we do and offer valuable skills that help us grow. Collaborators typically work alongside and report to crew members who lead their respective areas.

Both crew members and collaborators contribute on a volunteer basis, sharing their time and talents to further Shadow Puppetz’s mission. Learn more about our crew members and collaborators.
